All plans process payments through Stripe at its standard 1.5% + 20p per transaction. On top of that, Membber adds a 1.5% platform fee on member payments, with no monthly cap. No per-stamp charges, no annual contract, cancel any month.
Common questions
I'm mid-contract with Mindbody. Can I still switch?
Yes. We handle the Mindbody data export fee when you migrate. We can run both systems in parallel for your transition period so you're never double-paying for long. Most gyms break even within 60 days.
Do my members need to download a new app?
Yes, but the new app is yours. It has your name, your icon, your brand. Most members switch without friction when the gym communicates it clearly. We provide a migration email template and announcement pack.
What if members pay by Direct Debit?
Membber uses Stripe for payments, which supports cards and Apple Pay. Stripe's BACS Direct Debit is on our roadmap. For now, members switch to card-on-file billing, most find it easier.
What about Android members?
Android app is in active development. Web-based booking and account management works on all devices in the meantime. We'll notify you when Android launches.
Can I run multiple locations?
Yes, Gym Pro covers multiple locations with consolidated analytics and separate scheduling per site. Each location has its own class schedule, staff access, and member management.
Do I own my Stripe account?
Completely. You connect your own Stripe account during setup (8 minutes). Payments go directly from your member's card to your bank. Membber never touches your funds, and if you ever leave, you keep the account.
How long does migration actually take?
Typically 2 weeks from signed agreement to go-live. Week 1: member data import and app configuration. Week 2: staff training and soft launch. TC60 was fully live in under 2 weeks.
What's included in the migration support?
We export your Mindbody data (and cover their export fee), import all members with billing dates intact, configure your branded app, and run a staff training session. You don't touch a spreadsheet.
